IColohunter is a blood test for colorectal cancer (CRC) using DNA methylation analysis involves detecting specific methylation patterns in cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in the bloodstream. It detect the DNA methylation of NTMT1 and MAP3K14-AS1 gene in blood.
This approach aims to identify early-stage CRC and potentially precancerous lesions by detecting changes in DNA methylation, an epigenetic modification that can alter gene expression.
IColohunter is a non-invasive screening method to people who are unwilling to be screened by colonoscopy.
We know Colorectal Cancer is a high incidence malignant tumor and can be called as CRC and normally we also name it as “lazy cancer”.
It’s not easy to discover and we will possibly miss some warning signals from our body during our every moment.
When people have obvious characteristics of CRC, the so-called five-year survival rate has been less than 12%.
